Duration of MBA studies
- The MBA studies last 2 years (4 semesters).

- They are realized in extramural system – classes are held on Saturdays and Sundays every second weekend (twice a month).
- Classes last from 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. with two 15-minute breaks and one longer lunch break.
Modular system
- The MBA program has a modular structure.
- Each module constitutes a separated entirety.
- Additionally, modules are enriched with guest speakers’ lectures given by top specialists from Poland and abroad (so-called “Meetings with Leaders”).
Academic year
- The 1st academic year starts on 1st October and finishes on 30th June the following year.
- The 2nd academic year starts on 1st September and finishes on 30th June the following year.
- Each academic year has two semesters: winter semester and summer semester.
- The basic program comprises 3 semesters. The fourth semester, during which diploma seminars and individual consultations with promoters are held, is designated for writing a master’s thesis.
Additional information about classes
- The MBA program at the University of Business in Wroclaw comprises 540 hours of compulsory and open lectures, workshops and reviews.
- All classes are held in 100% in English.
- Lectures are based on practical solving of problems. They have an interactive form and simulate real business problems which managers may encounter in their workplace.
- Class activities are based on discussions, case studies, business simulations, multimedia workshops, virtual decision games and business projects. Students may also consult the faculty in a traditional or electronic way.
- Each subject has to be completed with a grade. Credits are received either for preparation of a case study or a written project, or on the basis of an oral or written examination.
- Students can get two diplomas: a master’s degree in management and a diploma of postgraduate studies.
- In order to get a master’s degree one must write and defend their master’s thesis and in order to receive a postgraduate diploma one must pass an oral interdisciplinary examination.
- At the beginning of each academic year a weekend integration session is organized outside the university for both existing and new students.
