I hold Master of Science Diploma in Computer Science and have 10+ years of experience in IT as developer, architect and manager in international environment. ”

“ What is your background? Which aims did you pursue with this MBA program? I graduated in Automatics and Robotics (M.Sc.) from Cracow University of Mining and Metallurgy. For 12 years I worked as a consultant with a large multinational telecommunications corporation. During this time I was afforded the opportunity to travel extensively, working in a variety cultural environments. Since 2006 my life has gone through a series of significant changes. I returned to settle down in Cracow and applied for the International MBA Program. I quit the consultancy agency, got married became a father to my beautiful daughter and finally, I received my MBA diploma. What were my reasons for pursuing the MBA program? Primarily, I think I was driven by a desire for my continuous personal and professional development. I didn’t want to stand still and stagnate, which would have ultimately led to me seeking change, but perhaps too late. The MBA program presented an engaging and demanding target, keeping me scientifically active for the past 2 years. I now look forward to the prospect of a key role within a multinational organization or perhaps starting my own business. Last but not least this MBA program has enabled me to meet various interesting people from a multitude of business backgrounds and learn from them. In turn this has enriched my own experiences and knowledge. ”

“ Decision about the continuation of my education was taken mainly because on the one hand I wanted to improve my knowledge, to fulfill it and on the other hand I was curious how other managers dealt with the similar problems. I was graduated in the International Management at the University of Economics in Cracow. The International MBA program was somehow the continuation of my previous study and perfectly fit into my personal and professional interests. There were many reasons to go back to school and acquire my MBA. Many people can’t figure out why others want to submit themselves to that kind of pressure and stress. I am a person who wants to get ahead, and who knows that obtaining the MBA is just another stepping stone in that process. The main reason why I decided to take the MBA study was internal desire of self improvement, self development together with getting the modern, practical knowledge. I may say that my personal professional ambition was the second reason of MBA studying. In Poland, differently than in other countries the MBA study is still not treated as a standard. In the rest of the world especially in the USA, it is a part of the education, in Poland it is like a “coronation” of the manager’s education. Getting the MBA Diploma I treated as a proof of my skills on the local (Polish) market and on the other hand, as a person worked for the international company, as a gate to the promotion in the global structure. ”
